Maybe the LP will nominate this guy next time around. Seems like a modest improvement to me.

Yeah, I think I remember him. Didn’t he get 1.2 million votes in the primaries or something? 8)
I’m happy to announce that my choice in this year’s presidential election came in third in Nevada, ahead of both Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin.
I voted for: None of These Candidates
Nevada 2008 Election Results for third party candidates:
Chuck Baldwin – 3,191 – 0.33%
Bob Barr – 4,258 – 0.44%
Cynthia McKinney – 1,408 – 0.15%
Ralph Nader – 6,140 – 0.64%
None of These Candidates – 6,251 – 0.65%
It’s also noteworthy that Nevada’s Independent American Party (IAP) had 47,967 registered members who are considered active voters, yet their presidential candidate only received 3,191 votes total statewide. This is a very strong indicator that far too many Nevadans have erroneously registered with the IAP, believing that they have instead registered as independent of any party affiliation.
Stats for this comment were obtained from the Nevada Secretary of State Website: election results – registration and party affiliation
I didn’t vote. The number of Americans who did not vote was higher than the number who voted for Obama.
