As always, Angela did an excellent job of bringing debaters out of their shells by giving them difficult questions.
Kubby was burning this thing down. He sounded like he had a wholistic worldview of liberty.
Root was shilling for “compromise” on preemptive war, and I don’t even know what that looks like. Perhaps only half as many preemptive wars. He is a wet noodle who wouldn’t be out of place in the GOP. He’res a quote:
“I think that Ron Paul was right that we never should have gone to Iraq in the first place, but he is wrong that it was our fault.”
Here’s Ron Paul laying the verbal smackdown on a chubby fratboy in 1988 and standing up for personal responsibility.

LOL! That clip of Ron Paul on the Morton Downey Jr. Show is great!
For those of you who don’t know, Morton Downey Jr. was a loud, foul mouthed, chain smoking, conservative talk show host in the late 1980’s. His show was based out of the New York-New Jersey area. He had in my opinion the most entertaining talk show on TV during that era.
I remember an episode where he had “3rd Party” candidates on, but the only candidate that I can remember is Lenora Fulani from the New Alliance Party. I wonder if this clip is from that episode.
I didn’t know anything about the Libertarian Party until 1996 when I saw Harry Browne on C-SPAN but I do remember when I was in school in 1984 as well as in 1988 a teacher bringing a sample ballot to school and hanging up on the wall in the front of the classroom. I remember both times going up and staring at the ballot and wondering who all of the other parties & candidates were besides the Democrat and the Republican and why I hadn’t heard anything about them in the media. I do remember seeing Libertarian Party on the ballot but I just glanced by and then remembered it as the Liberation Party. I also remember seeing Ron Paul’s name on the ballot but I didn’t know anything about him until after I joined the Libertarian Party in 1996.
I’d love to see Ron Paul cut loose on Adolph Giuliani like that in the GOP debates!
