A few of us from the LP Radical Caucus were on Angela Keaton’s show. It’s been a while since I’ve heard it, but I remember that I said “um” way, way, way too much. It was me, Susan Hogarth, Morey Straus and Marc Montoni. Did I forget any other guests?
Unfortunately, after the show was supposed to be over, Susan and I kept talking and did not realize we were still being recorded for the show (oops!). One of the things we discussed was North Carolina LP Ballot Access. When we realized we were inadvertantly part of the show, I did not care, but Susan objected and we had the show removed.
A big brouhaha ensued, and I have been told the unedited show is a hot item being passed around on the libertarian underground by some people who must be incredibly bored. In any case,
after much fumbling, we were able to finally get the show edited and posted back up.
Listen to the edited show here:

Oh yeah:
Robert Capozzi and Brian Holtz of the LP Reform Caucus
“strike back“.
I guess someone objected to the
reference, since the show is now retitled “Reform Caucus Responds.”

I listed to the whole thing. It made me want to join the LP again, and get straight into the radical caucus. I think there should be a radical caucus audio blog – you should call it “Return of the Jedi” of course. Now I want to know what you said, you know the part that was edited.
TGirl,
Hubby is on call so we are having a grown up slumber party at my house tonight. You should come by. It will be a drunken blast.
LOL
Listening now.
I think that we need you guys to make sure we keep our focus, but the Reform Caucus is better at relating to the world at large.
I don’t know exactly how everything’s going to come down in Denver but I’m definitely still a Reform guy… albeit a Reform guy who realizes we need you folks.
Stuart,
I think some incrementalism works, but some does not. I guess it depends on the subject at hand. I realize I’m a radical, but I do play well with others! heh
Mich – sorry I missed the party, you’ll have to tell me about it!
Head hurts, will call you later.
Reminds me… I need to talk to you, Michelle.
Calling you now
TIgirl
Please do rejoin the LP and come hang out with fellow rads:

The part edited out was nothing important, just chitchat between Paulie and me. I didn’t want it in there because (1) I sounded even dorkier than usual, and (2) there was some mention of a particular petitioner in NC which I thought should not have been public. What happened was that after Angela said “Thanks, folks, so long!!!,” everyone hung up but Paulie and me, and we started chatting *assuming* that the recording had ended when Angela herself signed off (that should teach me not to assume, but it probably won’t…).
