LOL! Okay, I picked A on all but a couple. However, I was “educated” in a gov’ment school, so it’s not entirely my fault.
I think the immigration issue is really about little more than language. Unfortunately, a great number people who complain about the fact that immigrants don’t speak English can barely speak it themselves.
A social studies teacher at one of Tennessee’s great government schools put it best when, referring to the school’s library, he said, “There shouldn’t be no books in here that I can’t read.”
Dammit, I thought for sure Andy could not resist this one.

We all already know that the government is messed up. This tells us all something that we already know, while at the same time giving out the false impression that all immigrants are a bunch of angels.
Also, many immigrants are actually in favor of big government.

This is a justification for giving government the power to discriminate against them….?

It only gives one side of the story. Also, again you FAIL to differentiate between immigrants and invaders.
An invader has one or more of the following characteristics.
1) Enters the country and gets on welfare and/or other government programs.
2) Committs crimes (as in acts of coercive violence, theft, or destruction of property).
3) Has a hostile attitude towards Americans. This includes those immigrants who lobby to subvert the Declaration of Indepedendence and Constitution.
I classify any person who enterst the country that displays any of these traits to be my enemy and I do not regaurd them as Americans. If I could do it I’d deport them myself.
I classify an immigrant in the following manner.
1) Does not collect any type of welfare.
2) Does not committ crimes.
3) Is friendly towards Americans and has a real passion for the priciples of liberty on which this country was founded.
So I’ve never really had big problem with immigrants, just invaders.

I’ve spoken to very few immigrants who’ve got a clue when it comes to liberty.
A few months ago I gave the World Smallest Political Quiz (www.self-gov.org) to a Mexican-American women (one who was an immigrant who became a citizen) and she scored at the very bottom as an authoritarian. Then she wouldn’t sign my petition to put the Libertarian Party on the ballot.
I’ve spoken to many immigrants from all over the place who I would regaurd as hostile to the REAL America (as in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution). These immigrants – actually INVADERS – are anti-gun rights, pro-censorship, pro-Affirmative Action, pro-tax payer funded foreign aid, pro-United Nations, pro-welfare state, etc…
Unlike you, I can make a distinction between immigrants and invaders.

There is no capitalism without the free movement of people.
States should not be compelled to provide welfare for non-citizens.

The purpose of the U.S. Constitution is to expand the power of the State. That’s why it was rammed down the throats of the American people, replacing the less coercive Articles of Confederation.
Some argue the Constitution is part of a “social contract,” and therefore legitimate. This overlooks one of the three necessary elements of a legitimate contract: unforced agreement to the terms of the contract by all parties to the contract. Unless these aliens signed the Constitution, it’s not binding on them.
So “illegal” aliens are subverting the Constitution? Does that make the rest of us free riders?
